Terms of Service

Last updated: August 22, 2026

These terms are written to be read. They cover the game Sereniton (styled SERENITŌN in the app) and this website, both published by Brownberg LLC ("we").

The game

Sereniton is a single-player puzzle game. When you install it we grant you a personal, non-transferable licence to play it on your own devices. The game, its artwork, music and code remain the property of Brownberg LLC. You may not resell the game, strip its assets for redistribution, or pass modified copies off as the original.

There are no accounts to create and nothing to upload, so there are no content rules to agree to: the game gives you no way to publish anything.

The subscription

The game is free, with short ads between scenes. One optional subscription removes all ads. It is billed and managed by Google Play (or the Apple App Store on iOS), under their payment terms:

  • The price and billing period are shown by the store before you pay. We do not bill you directly and never see your payment details.
  • It auto-renews until cancelled. When you open the app in the last 10, 5 or 1 day before a renewal, it reminds you, with a manage and cancel button on the reminder.
  • Cancelling is one tap from the game's menu, which opens your Google Play subscription page. Cancellation stops the next renewal; you keep the benefit until the period you paid for ends.
  • Refunds follow the store's refund policy for your platform.

Fair expectations

We work to keep the game gentle, stable and safe, and to describe it honestly. The game is provided as it is, without warranties beyond those the law requires. It is designed for calm; it is not a medical device and makes no health claims.

To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim connected to the game or this site is limited to the amount you paid us for it in the twelve months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Changes

If we change these terms, the date at the top changes with it and the new version replaces this one at the same address. Continuing to play after a change means the new terms apply.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of [STATE], United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
